FILM YEAR: 2016
American Honey
From Arnold: a captivating, raw journey (with song).
Terrific cast. Lane's debut: vital, strong.
The viewer: nervously alerted,
But assumptions are subverted.
Only one gripe: at times, it feels overlong.
